This is a song about the monster inside us all. In this particular case, it is a jekyll and Hyde idea that revolves around a battered and abused woman who has had enough and finally snaps. The theme of lycantropy is used as a metaphor to the monster in us all.

Of some unholy force

A strange anamoly takes hold
And leads my purity astray
Under a spell
Bewitched by the scent
Of my wounded prey

The spell is broken

Of some forbidden curse
I found myself obsessed
And the monster takes control
A violent bloodlust takes its toll
Destroying all that’s in its path
